Distribution Center
A large warehouse where goods are packaged and stocked for the purpose of being distributed to anyone from retail chains for wholesale prices, or directly to consumers. A company typically has a central location from which products are regularly shipped out to various destinations. Along with keeping up with the demand of goods distribution, distribution centers often handle small manufacturing duties, such as adding labels.
